‘Zero Gravity’ brings out a critical message on our inhuman city put under praises of technology and consummation. His cityscape hanging in a free-gravity state reflects this vision. The artist hung the models of big apartment buildings in light material upside down from the ceiling. The destroyed road and bridge looked as if they were collapsing. King Kong symbolizing Korean average middle-aged-men and Barbie as a symbol of beauty both produced by 3D scanning process appeared as the image of today’s city dewellers. The installation reflects the city with a tragic ending carried out of our twisted society of egoism and velocity.
