작가는 '사루비아'벽에 남겨진 '어떤 수평 선'이 작가의 눈높이와 같다는 점에 착안하였다. 일종의 공간 회화로 공간의 설치물과 벽면 드로잉, 그리고 계단을 따라 사선으로 배치된 8개의 설치액자, 작은 공간에 설치된 백열등이 'HORIZON' 작업을 구성한다. 크기, 부피, 긴장, 혼잡, 냄새 등 공간이 규정한 조건을 선의 흐름으로 잡아내어 오감으로 감지할 수 있는 장방형의 목조 구조물을 향나무로 제작하였다. 중앙의 사각 기둥에 중심을 두고 끼워 둘러쳐진 기하학적 구조물은 전시장 공간을 장악하며 허공에 떠 있다. 관객은 위, 아래, 앞, 뒤, 옆으로 이동하면서 냄새 맡고 움직이며 직관적 느낌에 휩싸이게 된다.

Taking note of "a certain horizontal line" at his eye level on the walls of SARUBIA, Seung Un CHUNG created a kind of spatial painting with his "HORIZON"project, an installation of wall drawings, eight picture frames installed diagonally to the descending stairs, and an incandescent lamp placed in a small space adjacent to the main exhibition space. A long rectangular structure fabricated from Chinese juniper highlighted the existing qualities of the space, its size, volume, tension and density, encouraging the experience of space through smell, feel, all five senses. Using the rectangular column in the gallery’s center as an anchor, CHUNG floated geometric elements around it, enabling the objects to command the space. One intuits the spaces above, beneath, in front, behind and next to them, as they traverse the exhibition and become enveloped in a heightened sensory perception.
